Osteopathy
Medicare provides financial assistance for those in need of osteopathic care.
There are 2 types of plans available & you must meet certain eligibility requirements:

Team Care Arrangement (TCA)- for those with complex health needs

GP Management Plan (GPMP) - for those with chronic medical conditions (>6 months)

Both plans involve selecting certain health care and providers, including Osteopathy to provide structured approach to care & across multiple disciplines. At least 2 providers need to be involved in a plan. There are 5 rebatable visits per calendar year but they may need to be distributed with other providers.

Please first book an appointment with your GP to discern if you are eligible for the plan.

When using this plan, on the day of a consultation you will need to pay for the full fee of the consult. We will then process the rebate for the consultation. The rebate generally takes 1-2 business days to re-enter your bank account. Please note, we are not a bulk-billing clinic and therefore the rebate will not cover the full cost of the consultation.
