Prom Health is Finalist in Rural Health Awards (RWAV)

Over the past 12 months, we have opened Prom Health Gym and welcomed two new full-time osteopaths to our team — Peter Sehic and Molly Scott. These changes have significantly increased our capacity to support the health and wellbeing of people throughout our community.
Having a larger osteopathy team also gives us more opportunities to learn from one another, stay up to date with current best practice and regularly workshop ways to improve our treatment, rehabilitation and management advice. It keeps our day-to-day work engaging and allows us to continually refine how we use our skills to help our patients.
We also continue to work alongside our wonderful Chinese Medicine practitioner, Sandra Tracy. Working together allows us to refer between practitioners when we believe a patient may benefit from an additional or different approach to their care.
On a more personal level, Laura and Xavier are incredibly grateful to have a growing team of people who share their enthusiasm for helping others. Having more teammates to collaborate with, learn from and share the workload has made Prom Health a more supportive and enjoyable place to work.
At Prom Health Gym, our instructors Kelsey, Jess and Julia have helped create a welcoming, supportive and dynamic environment. With classes running across five days each week, we are able to offer a variety of class styles for different needs, abilities and preferences, along with class times to suit a range of schedules.
It has been incredibly rewarding to see the improvements people are making in their health, fitness and confidence — both in the gym and in the clinic.
For a small team based in Foster to be recognised as a finalist in a statewide award is something we are very proud of.
Across the whole Prom Health team, we share a passion for helping people through acute injury and pain while also supporting them to make meaningful improvements to their health over the longer term. None of us could have the same impact alone — we are better together.
